To assist New Members, the Training & Performance Team is putting in place a system of 'Mentoring'.

Each region has appointed a Training Officer who will assign each new member to an experienced Eventer in their locality. The mentor should be able to help the new member with issues such as:

• Preparation for and Entry to Events
• Finding a local Trainer
• Tips for how the day of an Event Works, e.g. timings and course walks etc.
• Information on events outside the region.
