The league will be run over 6 Events, with a minimum of 2 legs to qualify winning.  All scores will count.   

The Wilkie and Flanagan CNCJ1* League will focus on the jumping phases and award horse/rider combinations points for clear jumping.   Therefore, it could mean the winner of the class may not necessarily win the leg if they have incurred penalties in the jumping phases.

Points Allocation

1. First Place in Class ridden =  20 points  

Deductions will be made as follows from this score if applicable:
a. For every 4 SJ faults deduct 4 points
b. For every 20 XC faults deduct 2 points

2. Remaining Placings:
a. Clear Round SJ  no matter where placed in class = 14 points
b. Clear Round XC no matter where placed in class = 4 points

A total of 18 points can be awarded for clear SJ and XC

Time penalties in either the show jumping phase or the cross country phase do not count and clear round means clear of jumping penalties. The points system is to reward clear jumping in both jumping phases but in particular the show jumping phase.

Prizes

The Overall League Winner will receive €300.00 cash, along with additional prizes to be confirmed.

In the event of a tie, points will be awarded to the horse/rider combination with the least SJ penalties.  If there is still a tie, it will be the horse/rider combination with the least XC penalties.

League results will be published on the Eventing Ireland website after each leg.

* Series Winner

The potential Series Winner MUST attend the final leg of the series to be eligible to win and have completed two legs of the series.  

Series Winner must attend the prize giving.
