Price increases for 2018

After consultation with the Admin and Finance Committee, the Eventing Ireland Board agreed it is now necessary to increase some revenue streams from 1 January 2018.  There have been no increases for memberships or registrations for over seven years.

Horse Registrations

Horse registration prices will now be based on the number of points a horse has at the time of registration:
  • Horses 0-10 points €70
  • Horses 11-20 points €75
  • Horses 21+ points €80
There will be no change in horse registration costs for restricted horses or ponies.

Day Tickets

The prices for 2018 Day Tickets are as follows:
  • A non-member competing on a day membership will now pay €25 / £25.
  • A non-registered horse competing with a non-member will now cost €20 / £20.
Entry fees are in addition to Day Ticket prices.

International Applications

International Applications for Home Internationals and Overseas Internationals will increase by €2.  An application for a Home International will now by €7 and for an Overseas International will be €47.

Membership fees to Eventing Ireland will remain unchanged.

Eventing Ireland Chairman David O’Meara said of the difficult decision “Eventing Ireland running costs are increasing and we need to maintain the best service we can for our members.  There are critical website upgrades, including new data protection policies that need to be adhered to for 2018.  In addition, Eventing Ireland contributes funding to the Eventing High Performance Programmes and to Home International events.  As the national body for Eventing we must continue to support national grass roots eventing and strive to reach the podium at the highest level”.
