Changes to National Entry Fees

Note from EI Board

Author: Alison Packman/Friday 15 March 2019/Categories: General News

Following discussions with event organisers, the Eventing Ireland Board has made the difficult decision to increase national entry fees this year to cover both the rising cost of our insurance and running costs of an event.

The costs to build and prepare tracks for EI115 (2*) and EI120 (3*) has also been considered.  To ensure these courses are maintained to the highest levels in order to give our athletes the best possible preparation they need to compete at international level without travelling overseas, those entry fees have been increased to reflect this.

Also the Start Fee of €5/£5 will now be included in the entry fee – there will be no start fee collected at an event.

The full list of entry fees for 2019 are listed below and is effective immediately:

Class (old)

EI110 (1*)

EI115 (2*)

EI120 (3*)

Please note, the EI105 class has been downgraded to an Introductory class - there will be no points for this class and prize money/prizes in kind will now be at the discretion of the event organiser.
