Fernhill Sport Horses Mallow (Kilguilkey) International CCI  June 28 – 30 2019

We are now in the final stages of preparation for the Fernhill Sport Horses Mallow (Kilguilkey) International event.  Mike Etherington-Smith is the Course designer for the CCI4*-S and Danny Dulohery has designed the 1*, 2* and 3* tracks.  The courses will be similar to last year’s event with additional new fences that will be revealed closer to the event.  A huge amount of work and effort is taking place to make this year’s event an even greater success.

We are delighted that Fernhill Sport Horses remains our title sponsor.  Carol Gee and her team have been with us from the very start of our eventing career and we are humbled by her continued support to make the event grow year on year.  Fernhill Sport Horses is, and will be for many years to come, the back bone of Irish Event Horses.

Once again Equissentials is sponsoring the CCI1*-S class.  Equissentals has a vast range of equestrian products from bespoke show jumps to being stockists of the hugely popular Arc Equine.

Last year we the first FEI event in Ireland to run the new CIC-Intro class (now CCI1*-S class) and following on from its success earlier this year in Ballindenisk International, we are hoping this class will grow as a stepping stone for those starting their international career.  It is a wonderful opportunity for amateur athletes wishing to compete at an International level.

Plusvital continues to sponsor the CCI3*-S class.  Plusvital will have their trade stand at the event promoting their supplements tailor made for the sport horse, and will be on hand to give expert advice during the event.

Global Sport Horses has kindly agreed to sponsor the CCI4*-S class this year.  Chris Hunt, Brian Morrison and their team compete at the highest level and are hugely successful in producing quality event horses.  They now have the addition of young riders competing the Global Sport Horse brand.

Tredstep Ireland is on board sponsoring the CCI2*-S for Ponies.  The Tredstep Ireland brand is synonymous with quality and is an essential part of the equestrian wardrobe.  Aidan Keogh and his family runs this extremely successful business as well as competing at the very top of the sport.

We welcome and thank all our sponsors and wish them every success for the event and throughout the season.
