Dear Members

As you are aware the Government has started to ease restrictions on activity as result of the Covid-19 lockdown.  We are very pleased equestrian activities have been included in Phase 1 of the restrictions and as you resume activity, we would encourage you to remain within the guidelines set out of not travelling more than 5km from home at present.

Eventing Ireland has been looking as to how we gradually resume activity this season and we set out below the pathway we expect to follow subject to the current guidelines.

Outdoor, training max 4 people. Limited training activities

Outdoor,small teams, max 6 people training

‘Behind closed doors’ activities. Regional training events

Allow sports, limitations on spectators.

National eventing to start

Allow sports which involve mass gatherings



Compliant with all Protocols and Social Distancing measures in place at all times

Eventing Ireland’s members, officials and volunteers should follow the protocols to provide a safe environment in order to compete and participate in our sport. Each of us must remember we must take responsibility for our actions and how it may impact others.
