  • The naming page of the passport must be sent to Head Office prior to the entry being made
  •  If the horse does not meet the eligibility requirements, they will be moved to the equivalent class, or entry fee refunded
  •  Athletes must be fully paid up members of Eventing Ireland to compete in the series.
  • Any athlete entered from the beginning of the series with a horse with less than 20 EI points, and who has – throughout this series – exceeded 20 EI points, are allowed to continue to compete in the series. This horse will then have to run in the Open EI110 at the end of the series.
  • Entry Fees will be as per Eventing Ireland website
  • Winners of each leg must provide bank details to HSI so prize money can be transferred directly to their bank account

Format

  • All horses will compete as per the EI Rules.  Dressage will take place followed by show jumping and cross country
  • Points will be awarded for the same horse/athlete combinations throughout the league
  • The top 6 in each event will be awarded points (Please see Points Allocation for clarity)
  • Combinations will receive 1 point for a double clear (XC/SJ) – time excluded.
  • Horse/athlete combinations must compete in at least two legs to be eligible for league placings
  • The highest placed combination with the most points at the end of the sixth leg will be the winner

Prize/Bonus Money

  • Eventing Ireland prize money will be paid by the venues as per the Eventing Ireland Rule 7.2. with the additional HSI bonus prize money (as per the Prize Schedule) being paid by bank transfer from HSI to the winners
  • If an EI110 class is split (for example, Section A & Section B), the total prize money for that leg will also be split
  • Prize winners will be required to attend the official prize giving at the end of each event, in particular the final league presentations held at Punchestown 2a.  If the winners or their representative is not in attendance, the prize money will be forfeit
  • If a prize giving ceremony is not possible due to the Covid-19 guidelines, alternative arrangements will be made and announced in advance

HSI EI110 Final

  • Final leg of this league will be held at Punchestown 2a on Saturday 10 October.
  • The Overall League Winners will be announced after results from the final leg have been confirmed and verified.
