Membership and Registration Reminders

This is a reminder to all members and potential new members that Eventing Ireland offers a 12 month rolling membership and registration facility – which is unique as regards other organisations in the equestrian sector.

As advised at the AGM, 70% of memberships taken in 2020 were in June and July – just as the season started.

Membership will expire 12 months from the date of joining.  When you log in, you will now see when your membership expires at the top of the page.  You can also see when your horse registrations expire as they may be different from your membership date.

One of the new functions of the website is you now have the option to renew your membership one month before it expires – giving you 13 months rolling membership.

Please remember that if you have horses registered, your membership must be paid up or you will not be able to enter them into competitions.

Day Tickets in Level 4 and 5

It was agreed at the Board Meeting on 24 February that there will be no day tickets for training events whist we are still in Levels 4 and 5 of lockdown.  Only paid up members will be able to attend training events during this time.  Unregistered horses may compete with a day registration. The Board will keep this under review as government guidelines on Covid 19 are amended.

We appreciate this is very disappointing news for those who have not yet joined Eventing Ireland who wanted to experience the excitement of competing.  We hope that the guidelines change soon.
