Note from Head Office

With the start of the season fast approaching, we would like to remind you of a few steps you can take to make sure that your account is up to date and ready to go as soon as entries open.

Firstly, please make sure that your and your horses’ memberships have not expired. You can check the expiry dates online and renew memberships or horse registrations, by logging in to your account. To renew your membership, simply select your desired membership type from the drop down menu (see below) and click ‘save’.

It is important to note that you will not be able to complete your membership renewal unless you check the box for volunteering. Type your own name, or the name of a nominated volnuteer, phone number and email address into the fields, then click "Click Here to Volunteer." Then you must select an event for which you, or the nominated volunteer, are available. Remember to click save afterwards!

To renew a horse registration, click on the “Renew/Upgrade” option beside the horse’s name. Select the desired registration type from the drop down menu, and click “Update Horse Record”. REMEMBER TO CLICK THE SAVE BUTTON AFTER UPDATING THE HORSE RECORD.

***PLEASE NOTE*** You will only be able to renew/upgrade a horse’s registration once your own membership has been renewed.

Members can renew registrations within 30 days of the expiry date, without losing any period of membership.

We politely request that you make sure your membership and horse registrations are all up to date well in advance of the closing of entries for any event you wish to enter. It is likely that our phones will be exceptionally busy in the lead up to the closing of entries, so we cannot guarantee that all queries will be answered before an event closes.

If you need to add a new horse, you can do so by typing the horse’s name into the “Find Horse” field under the Horses/Ponies tab in My Account. Click “Find Horse” and then select “Add Horse.”

Complete the horse’s details, and click “Add Horse Record.”  REMEMBER TO CLICK THE SAVE BUTTON AFTER ADDING YOUR HORSE, otherwise the information you have entered will be lost.

You can then add additional horses, or save and checkout on the right hand side of the page.

YOU MUST SEND US PHOTOS/SCANS OF YOUR HORSE’S PASSPORT AFTER ADDING THEM TO YOUR ACCOUNT. We need to clearly see the horse’s registered name, colour, gender, year foaled, passport number, breeder’s name, breeder’s address and current ownership details. We cannot complete the horse’s record until we have received the images of the passport, and you will be unable to enter them for any events.

If the horse you are trying to add is already in the Eventing Ireland database under another owner, you can apply for Change of Ownership by completing THIS FORM and paying the Change of Ownership fee in the Eventing Ireland Shop.

The Events Tab contains the dates of all 2022 Events, as well as information on when entries open and close. Please make sure that you click on the “Event Details” tab for each event to see important information about each event:

Parents of under-age riders must also create an account. All of the information regarding under age riders is available in the links below. The Parental Consent form and Letter of Competency are available to download below.

If a rider is ageing out of ponies or juniors, please contact Head Office ( so that we can update our records. If you do not notify us of a change in category for an under age rider, they may find that they are unable to make entries.

We are thoroughly looking forward to welcoming back all of our competitors, and wish you a happy and successful 2022!
