2022 Amateur Rider leagues

*** Sponsorship by Arachas Private Client  ***

The Arachas Private Client EI90, EI100, EI110 Amateur Leagues are to run at all national events starting at Blackstairs on 19 March and concluding at The National Eventing Championships on 10-11 September 2022.

* All Athletes and Horses must be registered with Eventing Ireland (day ticket horse/riders will not be eligible for League points).

* All points count.

* Points cannot be transferred from one League to another – each League is standalone

* The results will be taken from the final results published on the EI website each week.

* In the event of a tie for any placings 1st-6th at the end of the season, the last three results of each competitor will be checked, as per the Equality Rule 19.5 in the EI Rule Book, and the decision reached will be final.

*Pictures of winners from the Leagues may be used for publicity purposes on Eventing Ireland and any potential sponsors websites as well as social media pages and should any athlete not be in agreement with this, to contact Trish Carey and Head Office.

The League Points system is as follows:

NOTE:  The extra point for double clears is only allocated to someone who is "Not" placed, i.e. if you come 1st to 6th, then you get your points for being placed, but you don't get an extra point for your double clear.  In summary the rules are as follows:

Rules:

  • 1st-6th get points descending from 6 to 1
  • Then everyone that completes gets 1 point regardless of position. So 1st place gets 7 points overall, 2nd place gets 6 points overall and so on with a non double clear completion getting 1 point overall.
  • Then anyone that is double clear outside of 1st-6th gets an extra point, so 8th place double clear would get 2 points overall. (One for completing and one for double clear).

All queries regarding the League results please contact Trish Carey:  trish@sandbox.ie
