NORTHERN IRELAND HORSE BOARD LAUNCHING ALL IRELAND HANDBOOK

The Northern Ireland Horse Board today announces that it is embarking on a new project that will hopefully come to fruition before the end of the year.

‘The Handbook’ will be a glossy publication that will span a 2-year period, and will include details of Stallions/ Stud Yards, Mares, Veterinary Specialists, Coaches, Equestrian Venues, etc as well as auxiliary service providers that we all need in the industry.

Although the book will be compiled, printed, and distributed by the Northern Ireland Horse Board, located at the Meadows Equestrian Centre, the handbook will be available on an all-Ireland basis.

In addition to the printed handbook, details of all vendors will also be available digitally on the Northern Ireland Horse Board website.

Commenting on the new project a spokesperson for NIHB said “The plan is to have the handy book ready for delivery in mid-December (a stocking filler perhaps!). The stallion advertising will be in full colour, with photo, full breeding etc”.

The spokesperson continued “Any equestrian enterprise is invited to book space, studs, horse sales, equestrian centres, coaches, rehab facilities, farriers, vets, AI centres etc - the list is endless.  We have been delighted with the response to date, but that the success of such a venture will only be possible with the support of the equestrian community”
