Dear Members
As you may be aware, Eventing Ireland is in the early stages of producing a five year Strategic Plan. In order for us to put a plan in place, we need to have engagement with our key stakeholders and supporters, which includes you, our membership.
We are inviting you to join us and have your say on Thursday 22 June at Lawlors Hotel, Naas from 6pm – 9pm. Following an introduction about our expectations from the Strategic Plan, you will be divided into different breakout groups to discuss different areas of our sport, identify our strengths and weaknesses in each and for you to contribute positively in this process.
We have engaged Brian MacNeice from Teneo, a global management consultancy firm, to facilitate the process. Brian has an impressive CV that includes working with the New Zealand All Blacks, is a regular speaker on high performance teams and organisations. He has also written a book ‘Powerhouse: Insider Accounts into the World’s Top High Performance Organisations’.
Over the coming weeks, we will also be arranging meetings with the different committees and the regions. We will be gathering and analysing your feedback to produce a Strategic Plan to help us reach our ultimate goal and how we will get there by 2028.
If you are unable to attend this meeting, there will be other opportunities for you to contribute at regional level, an online meeting or via an online survey. Please keep an eye on the website and social media for updates.
