The Northern Region have announced their Annual Awards, rugs are presented to horses registered in the Northern Region with highest places at Northern Region One Day Events, the following are the Award winners for 2010:

Glenhill Gold - ridden by Declan Cullen and jointly owned with Stephen Orr

CNC** WINNER

Ravenstar - owned by Jonathan Doherty and ridden by Jayne Doherty

JOINT CNC* WINNERS (also awarded the Hodgkinson Silver Goblet)

DHI Top Story - ridden by Joseph Murphy and owned by Suzanne Finlay

Fiorella - ridden by Trevor Smith and owned by Gina Johnston

PRE-NOVICE WINNER (also awarded the Hodgkinson Rose Bowl)

Miracle - owned and ridden by Marie McCormack

Ginger Spirit - ridden by Michael Parker and owned by Helen Parker

Kilminchy Condor - ridden by Lucca Stubington and owned by Georgia Stubington

Shared by: Da Capo Two - owned and ridden by Elaine Gardner (Sportsman A winner)

Hero's Green - ridden by Conor McMillen and jointly owned with Patricia MacKean (Sportsman B winner)

JUNIPER GREEN & KELLS TROPHY

(Given to the Society by Georgia Stubington as a tribute to her two great mares. Presented annually to the 'Eventing Mare' gaining best placings at NR events)

IRWIN TROPHY

(Given to the Society by the Coleraine Branch of Riding for the Disabled in memory of Mr and Mrs Irwin. Presented annually to the 'Owner-Bred' horse gaining best placings at Northern Region events)

PESCETTO FRIENDSHIP TROPHY

(Given to the Society by the friends of Sarah Pescetto and awarded annually to the most improved Junior rider)

HANNA TROPHY

(Presented to the Northern Region rider (over eighteen years of age) who accumulates most points throughout the year on a single horse at Northern Region events. Riders who have competed at two star level or higher are not eligible)

(Presented to the rider who accumulates most points with his/her horses at NR events, not including Internationals)

THE SPORTING IMAGES NI EVENTING IRELAND (NR) VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARD

(New for 2010 and kindly donated by John Gibson of Sporting Images NI - presented to the volunteer(s) who have made the most voluntary contribution to the sport of Eventing in the Northern Region in 2010, decided by the NR Committee)
