The inaugural DAFM Studbook Leagues have culminated and we have our winners!
Richard Ames has a double of winners, with Belline horses taking home the 7yo and 5yo titles. Belline Castle ONR Candy, bred by Noel Ruane and ridden by Patrick Byrne, wins the 7yo title after a solid 2025 season including a win over the tough track at Loughanmore in August.
Meanwhile, the Robbie Kearns-ridden Belline Kasaparov (bred by Ian Norris) was foot-perfect in his 2025 outings, winning at Frankfort and finishing his season without a single SJ or XC penalty, jumping or time.
Ciara Power’s, Mary Phelan’s and the Dreaming Syndicate’s Stonehavens Dreaming (bred by Vahe Bogossian) wins the 6yo league, with three wins, a 2nd and a 4th place finish.
