The phrase “it takes a village” is never truer than when applied to the sport of Eventing. Our incredible Grooms are, without doubt, one of THE most important and integral parts of that village. From the day-to-day care and monitoring of their horses to perfecting turn-out for competition, Grooms are out in all weathers, at all hours of the day, keeping our equine athletes (and, in some cases, the human ones) happy and healthy!

All you need to do to nominate your Groom is fill out THIS NOMINATION FORM, telling us in less than 1000 words why they should win Ballybar Groom of the Year 2025. Nominations close at 12pm on Friday 26th September.
The winning Groom will be presented on Saturday evening of the National Championships, so the groom must be available to attend the National Championships for the presentation.
