PLEASE NOTE: There will be no prize money paid at this event, however this Event will form part of a Leinster League. Prizes will be awarded at the culmination of the League.

There is no start fee at this event

Cross Country Description

Barnadown is situated on a sandy loam type soil which lends itself to running early and late in the season. Courses will be up to height with level of difficulty in line with time of year. Terrain is a mixture of steep climb and decent with long galloping sections.

Directions

Barnadown is conveniently located just one mile off the N11 (main Dublin/Rosslare route). It is just one hour south of Dublin, one hour from Waterford and Carlow and just over an hour from Kilkenny. This central location provides easy access from all provinces.

1. Going South (from Dublin)- Continue to the end of the Gorey By Pass (ignoring all signs for Gorey) until you meet the Clogh roundabout. Take the Clogh exit off (2nd exit) the roundabout. Continue to the village of Clogh (approx. 1 mile) turn right just before the filling station and take the immediate left. This will take you over the motorway. Barnadown is just 1 mile on the left.

2. Going North (from Enniscorthy)- continue on the N11 through Ferns and Camolin until the Clogh roundabout. Take the 1st exit, for Clogh. Continue for approx. a mile and in the small village of Clough turn right just before the garage. Take an immediate left and Barnadown Showjumping is one mile further on the left hand side.
