Updating a Microchip or Equine Premises Number

As part of the DAFM’s new Equine Traceability System, we now require microchip and Equine Premises numbers for all horses/ponies registered with EI.

You will be able to provide this information when registering a new horse/pony. You will also have to update this information in any existing horse/pony registration:

1. Log into your EI Account
2. Click on “My Horses”
3. Click “Manage” beside the horse/pony you wish to update
4. Click “Update”
5. Input the microchip and Equine Premises number
6. Click “Save”
