Horse Sport Ireland have introduced a new process for FEI entries in 2026. This applies to ALL Irish FEI entries, whether for home or overseas Internationals.
Athletes must now make their own FEI entries via Horse Source, managed by HSI. This is an additional step to the existing process, so you are still required to make your international applications via Eventing Ireland, as previously. The HSI Horse Source system only adds your details to the FEI entries site, you will not have paid your entry fee to the event at this point. You will still have to pay for your entry fees via the Eventing Ireland website (for Irish Internationals) or the venue’s website (Overseas Internationals).
HSI have created a guide for entering an International via Horse Source available HERE. We would encourage athletes/owners to read this information carefully, and take note of the fees for withdrawals, changes or substitutions after close of definite entries.
