The 2025 NutriScience Equine EI115 National Champion was crowned at Lisgarvan International Horse Trials as part of the CCI3*S competition in which EI members comprised 36 of the 37 strong field.

The combination also have the highest Opposition Beaten Percentage on Irish soil this year (99.4%) having beaten every combination they contested at home until Kevin McNab (AUS) took the win above them in the CCI3*S at Lisgarvan.

EI115 National Championship runners-up Robbie Kearns and Richard Ames’s Belline Thistle Bethelasttime continued their own run of excellent form, recording another Finished-on-Dressage just 0.2 pens behind Murphy.

Steven Smith took 3rd and 4th in the National Championship, on Strangford (owned by Terry Johnston) and Samiro Cruze MC (owned by Ella Boyle) respectively, with Rosie Alcorn riding her own Chrysanthos and Louise Bloomer on Martin Coen’s Atlantic Rockstar rounding out the top 6.
