Ever wanted to learn more about bit design and bridle fit, their influence on a horse’s biomechanics, posture and way of going? Marita O’Loughlin of Equibit brings her practical, evidence-based approach to a webinar on Thursday 5th February at 7.30pm.
This webinar is eligible for one CPD point for HSI coaches.

As an independent fitter, she is not tied to any brand and carries a comprehensive range of bits and bridles to each fitting, allowing truly unbiased recommendations. She has seen first-hand the profound difference that a well‑fitting bridle and appropriately selected bit can make to comfort, communication, and performance.
She is registered with the Equine Fitters Directory and is a member of the Equine Accredited Professionals Ethos Register, reflecting her commitment to recognised professional standards within the industry.
Alongside her consultancy work, Marita is a full‑time Equine Lecturer and continues to coach riders, helping them improve connection, understanding, and performance. She is fully insured, Garda vetted, and up to date with First Aid, Child Safeguarding, and regular CPD, ensuring her practice remains current and aligned with emerging research in this rapidly evolving area.
