The Plusvital Spring Series league is heating up, with over 300 combinations having competed in the first two weeks!
With over 300 combinations having competed across the first two weeks of the inaugural Plusvital Spring Series, the leagues are already heating up!
Louise Bloomer and Martin Coen’s Atlantic Rockstar (ISH) made it two-wins-from-two to take a 5-point lead over Gearoid Bolger (Into Mischief, ISH) and Lucy Latta on her Badminton runner-up, RCA Patron Saint (SHB) in the CT115 League.
Meanwhile, Michael O’Toole and Obsession (KWPN) showed their consistency once again in week two of the league at Wexford Equestrian, taking home another second place in the CT110 class. The combination hold a narrow 1.5 point lead over Aoife Madigan and Slanduff Bell X1 (ISH), who have so far taken a third and fourth in their two outings. Aoife is also the current leading AIRC Member in the Spring Series.
The tightest contest of the series so far, the CT100 league, sees ties for first, second and third places. Charlie Watson (Toberpatrick Gentle Dove, TIH) and Rebecca Scott (RDM Ring of the Night, ISH) battle it out for the lead on 8.5 points, with just 2 points separating the entire top 7. Grace Mahon (Ballycondon OBOS, ISH), Lexi Kilfeather (TDS Aurelia, ISH) and Susanna Boxwell (JMHillfield Double Diamond, ID) all sit tied for second on 7 points, after Susanna’s win in the CT100 at Wexford last weekend.
Kaiti McCann and Boyher Cookies n Creme continue an incredible run of form from the 2025 Eventing season, having won both legs of the CT90 at The Meadows, giving them top spot in the league. Newcomers Aleesha Doerflinger Duffy and Killimor Flash sit in second place in the league, also having taken two-wins-from-two from Milchem, but with the first being recorded in a smaller class meaning they have 11.5 points to Kaiti’s 14.
Two second place finishes at CoilÓg and Wexford leaves Emily Flavin-Redmond and her mother Debbie’s Galtee Honeysuckle (CP) with a two point league over current Leading Newcomer Hannah McGoldrick, who sits second in the CT80 league with Rachel Counihan’s 4yo Irish Draft Diamond Dayz.
