A bumper week in the Plusvital Spring Series saw the highest entries yet for the Spring Series, and some movement in the League leaderboards.
In the CT115 league, Louise Bloomer and Atlantic Rockstar (ISH) extend their lead to 13 points, with Gearoid Bolger’s (Into Mischief, ISH) win at Wexford 2 moving him into second place on 8.5 points.
In the CT110 league, Michael O’Toole and Obsession (KWPN) hold a narrow 2.5 point lead over Aoife Madigan (Slanduff Bell X1) and Denis Currie (Merlot), who have leapt up to tie for second place on 9 points.
The tightest leaderboard to date, the CT100 league sees Rebecca Scott and RDM Ring of the Night (ISH) move up to take the lead on 12.5 points, whilst Grace Mahon (Ballycondon OBOS, ISH) and Lexi Kilfeather (TDS Aurelia, ISH), tie for second place on 11.5 points, overtaking previous league leader Charlie Watson and Toberpatrick Gentle Dove (ISH)(TIH) who slip into 4th on 11 points. Week 3 also saw Grace move into the top spot in the Leading Junior category.
Isaac McCarthy and Suirvalley Little Monkey recorded the top score in the CT90 at The Meadows, which sees them leapfrog into the lead of their league on 18 points. Previous leaders Kaiti McCann and Boyher Cookies N Creme slip into second place, whilst Lucy Ferris and Howya Sammy move into 3rd place on 14 points, enough for Lucy to maintain her lead in the Leading Pony Rider category.
Emily Flavin-Redmond and Galtee Honeysuckle (CP) have proved consistent throughout the series so far, which has paid off with a move into the lead of the CT80 leaderboard on 19 points, a 4-point lead over Sarah Cowan and Gleann Rua Storm who lie second on 15 points.
The Leading Senior Rider is so far dominated by Duncan McFadyen, who has earned an astonishing 46 points, a commanding lead over second place Louise Bloomer on 27.5 points. Abbie Walker joins Aoife Madigan at the top of the Leading AIRC Member category, both tied on 9 points.
